1-16. Paper jam condition
Once the print paper happens to be jammed in the printer,
the machine will discontinue generation of the timing signal _ .
(TS) due to interrupted print head reciprocating motion
and waits for the power switch to be turned off after indi-
cating the following message of the display, assuming that a
paper jam condition has occurred in the printer. Thereby, it
will be necessary to turn the power switch off before
resuming any. key input once the machine has gone into
paper jam state.

1-17. Process with power failure
(1) If a power failure occurs during printing (except for
the RESET (Z) mode), the power-failure mark (-----)
is printed at a line where the set has stopped or at the
next line, after the power supply resumes. Then the
preceding information (assued at that turn-off time) is
printed again at the line next to the power failure
marks,
!f a power failure occurs during resetting, it will start
from the stopped position after resuming power. The
power-failure marks is printed the same as (1).

covered, the machine will go into a paper jam state. In _
such an event it will be necessary to observe the follow-
ing procedure after resumption of the power in order
to restart printing on a paper.

key.
Turn the power switch to the "ON" position.
Release the "0" and "ACCT#" key.
