If your Riley RS1 scooter is not going faster than 5 km/h, try the following steps:

1. Check the Mode – Ensure the scooter is in the correct speed mode. Mode 3 provides the highest speed.
2. Battery Charge – Make sure the battery is fully charged, as low battery levels can limit speed.
3. Brakes – Ensure the brake system is not engaged or stuck, as this can slow the scooter down.
4. Tyre Condition – Check if the tyres are properly inflated and in good condition.
5. Restart the Scooter – Turn the scooter off and on again to reset any potential issues.
6. Firmware or Settings – Some scooters have speed restrictions due to settings. Check the manual for any speed limit adjustments.
7. Contact Support – If the issue persists, reach out to Riley Support for further troubleshooting.

If the scooter is still slow after these steps, there may be a mechanical or electrical issue requiring professional repair.
