Gas pressure regulator

The MonoControl gas pressure regulator is a safety gas pressure
regulator according to EN 16129 for operation with liquid gas in the
gas phase.

PRV

The gas pressure regulator is fitted with an automatic safety device
(PRV)
. If the gas pressure regulator is not working properly, for

example due to dirt or other foreign mateiral, the safety valve opens
and releases the overpressure. The connected consumers are thus
protected from an impermissibly high pressure. The PRV closes auto-
matically after the pressure is reduced.

Reset button

The gas pressure regulator has a reset button. It is only needed for
the gas check.
If the black reset button is pushed in (Fig. 2-1), the gas pressure
regulator is ready for operation. This means that the gas system is
supplied with gas.
If the black reset button is protruding (Fig. 2-2), the gas pressure
regulator is not ready for operation. This means that the gas system is
not supplied with gas.

Unusually strong vibrations while driving may lead to the reset
button triggering inadvertently. In this situation, the flow of gas is
interrupted. To reset the reset button, see chapter „Resetting the
reset button")
