OPERATION
@ Be sure to turn the screw on the bottom of the unit according to the changer's
instalation orientation (horizontal or vertical).
(The spring is set for horizontal installation when
the unit is shipped from the
Bottom view
factory.)

(When switching from a vertical to horizontal installation, turn the screw

@ To remove
a disc from the
magazine, press on the rear of the
disc so that it slides out the front
Do not use too much force or the
disc may fly out the front of the
magazine.
@ Discs are number in sequence (1, 2,
3...) from the bottom slot up. Insert
discs into the magazine with their
labeled sides facing up.
A CAUTION
8 cm
(3in) CDs cannot be used in this unit. If an 8 cm (3 in} CD adapter ts
used,
the disc will not eject
@ insert the disc magazine into the
unit.
® Open the door of the unit
insert the disc magazine titl it clicks.
£JECT switch
® To remove
the disc magazite,
Open
the door and then press theeJ ECT
switch.
The magazine will not eject if the dior
1s not
completely open.
@ Oust entering the unit will make the
laser pickup dirty and adversely
affect performance.
Always
be sure
to keep the door closed.
A CAUTION
< When using a new disc >
@ Before using a new disc, be sur t@ check
for burrs around the edges of th chisc's
center hole and outer circumfernc e (see
diagram at left).
If burrs are preent, use a
ballpoint pen or similar instrumeit
tO
remove them. If a disc is used with burrs
stil attached, the disc may not it poroperly
im the player or disc magazine, « t he sound
may tend to skip during playbac
