How do we start using the universal remote control URC-6
To start using the Universal Remote URC-R6, follow these steps:
1. Install Batteries: Insert fresh batteries into the remote.
2. Turn on the Device: Power on the device you want to control (e.g., TV, DVD player).
3. Choose a Programming Method: Use one of the following methods to program the remote:
- Quick Set-Up Method
- Three-Digit Code Entry Method
- Auto-Search Method
- Learning Method (for copying functions from another remote)
4. Programming with Pre-Programmed Codes:
- Press the corresponding Component button (e.g., TV).
- Hold the Component button and Enter [ENT] button simultaneously for 2 seconds until the LED turns on.
- Enter the correct three-digit code for your device.
- If the device responds, press Power to verify control.
5. Using the Learning Method (if needed):
- Align the URC-R6 with the original remote, about 1–2 inches apart.
- Press the Component button and Enter [ENT] together for 2 seconds.
- Press a button on the URC-R6 to program, then press the corresponding button on the original remote.
- Repeat for other buttons as needed.
