Power Requirements

BEFORE APPLYING AC LINE POWER TO THE HP 81338 Pulse
Generator, ensure that the instrument is set to the local line voltage
and the correct line fuse is installed in the fuse holder.
The HP 8133A Pulse Generator can operate from any single-phase
AC power source supplying 100
frequency range from 50 to 60 Hz (see mble 1-1). The maximum
power consumption is 250 VA with all options installed.
Selector
The line voltage selector is set at the factory to correspond to the
most commonly used line voltage of the country of destination. The
switch is combined with the power line voltage receptacle on the rear
panel. Refer to %ble 1-1 for the line voltage ranges and Tdble 1-2 to
set the line voltage and select the appropriate fuse.
