Playback Level Adjustment
Procedure :
—Forward Playback Mode—
test tape
P.4-L300 VTVM
(315Hz, OdB)
TP201 (LINE OUT)
Adjust deck A: RV11A (L-CH), RV21A (R-CH) and deck B:
RV1I1B (L-CH), RV21B (R-CH) so that the VTVM reading
becomes the adjustment limits below.
Adjustment Limits :
LINE OUT level: —7.7 + 0.5dB 0.301 to 0.338V
Level Difference between Channels: within 0.5dB
Confirm the LINE OUT level does not change in playback
mode while changing the mode from playback to stop several
times.
Adjustment Location : MD-A Board, MD-B Board
Tape Speed/playback Level Adjustment
Screwdriver to adjust the MD block
The MD block adjustment can be performed by insert-
ing a screwdriver of which axis length (not including
the shaft) is 35 mm or more through the rear side of
the main board.

Playback the signal recorded in step 1.
Confirm that the 10kHz playback output is 0 + 0.5dB (0.732
to 0.821V) relative to the 315Hz output. if necessary. Adjust
RV12 (L-CH), RV22 (R-CH) and repeat the steps given above.
