Charging precautions

The following items must be observed
to avoid high-voltage electric shock or
more serious injury:
Check the charging
•
charging, and do not use the charging
cable with damaged skin or shell.
Before charging, make sure that there is
•
no water or peculiar matter in the
charging port of the vehicle, power
supply equipment
connection device, and that the metal
terminals are free of rust or corrosion.
Do not disassemble or modify the
•
charging device and related ports without
permission.
Choose a dry, ventilated and safe
•
environment for charging, avoid rain,
water immersion, and do not use the
charging device in an environment where
there are fire sources and flammable and
explosive materials.
Do not allow children to charge.
•
Do not touch the charging port.
•
In case of sudden weather changes
•
(strong wind,
thunderstorm) during charging, check
whether the charging plug is firm and dry
in time. In case of thunder and lightning,
do not touch the charging cable or the
vehicle.
If there is moisture near the charging port
•
during the charging process, please
disconnect the power supply first, then
disconnect the plug at the power supply
end (do not touch the metal sheet of the
cable before
and charging
rain, snow, and
charging plug with your hands or other
parts of your body to avoid safety
accidents), and then pull out the charger.
If necessary, please use insulating
gloves and contact Geely Service for
inspection and confirmation as soon as
possible.
If the vehicle emits peculiar smell during
•
charging, stop charging immediately.
Do not squeeze the charging cable when
•
charging.
After charging, do not disconnect the
•
charging connection device when your
hands are wet or standing in the ground
water.
Before driving, make sure that the
•
charging connection
disconnected from the vehicle charging
port.

Charging operation

Use DC fast charging devices that
meet the standard, otherwise they
may cause fault
casualties.
The charging must be carried out or
stopped in strict accordance with the
operation process of the DC fast charging
pile. It is prohibited to plug or unplug the DC
fast charging plug at will during the charging
process.

When the ambient temperature is too
high/low, the charging time of the
vehicle will be extended, which is normal.
