3.3 Pilot lamp lighting adjustment
<Purpose>
To adjust the lighting voltage of the red pilot lamp.
<Standard>
274 + OV
<Tools>
* Transistor pack
¢ Multi-meter (voltmeter)
<Adjustment Method>
1. Remove the rubber cap around the vertical bounce unlock button on the
flash head, and bleed the main capacitor. (For details on how to bleed the
capacitors, see page 3-1.)
2. Connect the transistor pack to the flash battery contact, and apply a voltage
of 5.8V.
3. Turn the main switch on to start charging.
4. Read the voltage of the main capacitor when the red pilot lamp lights, and
adjust VR-2 so that the voltage becomes 274+2V. (Measure the same
location as when bleeding the capacitors.)
