Select this position when watching sports programs such as base-
ball games, football games etc., for a stadium-iike effect.
™ SIMULATED SURROUND:
Use this mode for monaural sources. You will obtain an expansive
sound, with outstanding presence.
Can also be used with stereo sources.
® DOLBY SURROUND
Choose this setting for movies and music (especially Video Discs
and video tapes
bearing the
{)(] [DOLBY
SURROUND] or
DO [DOLBY STEREG] mark) playback.
Dalby Surround decodes the surround and center channel informa-
tion in the source signal, providing a feeling of teft-right and front-
back movement to match the action on screen.
When using DOLBY SURROUND, a delay time setting of 20ms is
commonly used. Use a different setting if you prefer.
