Open the battery compartment

completely using your finger as
shown in the illustration.
Normally, the battery drops

out when the compartment is
completely open.
If the battery does not come out,
lightly tap the instrument or use
a magnetic stick or push out the
battery from behind if needed.
Do not use a pen (or similar) as this
may damage your hearing aid.
Insert the correct sized battery.

Make sure that the "+" symbol on
the battery points up as shown in
the picture.
Close the battery compartment.

When the battery door is completely
closed, your hearing aid is ready for use.
If the battery door doesn't close
easily do not force it: check the
battery has been inserted correctly.
Volume control
Manual control can be fitted on some aids.
Can I use manual volume control?
To adjust the volume:

Press up to increse the volume.
•
Press down to decrese the volume.
Please note: Your volume adjustment is limited.
The upper and lower limit is indicated when you hear several beeps in succession.
When you hear the beeps you cannot adjust the volume any further.
Opening and closing the battery drawer will reset the volume to the mid-point.

To connect your Signia NHS Stretta Aya M hearing aids to TeleCare:
1. Receive the Text Message: Your Hearing Care Professional will register you for TeleCare and send a text message to the mobile number you provided. This message contains a direct download link to the Signia App and a 6-digit connection code.
2. Download the Signia App: Tap the link in the text message, which will redirect you to the app store for your device (Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android). Download the Signia App.
3. Put Hearing Aids in Pairing Mode:
- For battery-operated hearing aids: Open and close the battery door.
- For rechargeable hearing aids: Place the hearing aids in their charger and remove them.
4. Activate Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is active on your smartphone by going to the settings menu.
5. Pairing Window: Your hearing aids will stay in pairing mode for three minutes. Use this time to follow the app instructions to complete the connection.
