Switching on/Switching off
The RemoteUpdate function is
activated as standard. Available
updates will be downloaded
automatically but will only be installed if
you initiate the installation manually.
Deactivate RemoteUpdate if you do not
want any updates to be downloaded
automatically.
Options

Starting the update
After the washing machine is switched
on, appears in the time display.
Touch the Start/Add laundry sensor.
starts to flash in the time display.
The update starts.
Bars in the time display show the
progress of the update:
= 0 %
= 100 %
Postponing the update
After the washing machine is switched
on, appears in the time display.
Touch the sensor.
The running time of the selected
programme appears in the time display.
The next time you switch on the
appliance, you will be prompted to start
the update again.
Programmable functions
Switching off Wi-Fi
Turn the programme selector to the
MobileStart programme.
appears in the time display.
Touch and hold the sensor until
the countdown in the time display
has finished.
appears in the time display.
- The Wi-Fi is switched off.
- The Wi-Fi connection will be reset to
the factory setting.
The network configuration should be
reset whenever a washing machine is
being disposed of or sold, or if a
used washing machine is being put
into operation. This is the only way to
ensure that you have removed all
personal data and, in the case of the
latter, the previous owner can no
longer access the washing machine.
A new connection set-up has to be
carried out in order to use
Miele@home again.
