Duplicating the
Master Disk
HP E2418A
This chapter explains how to install and configure the HP E2418A
Preprocessor Interface for state analysis of external bus operations
with the supported logic analyzers.
Before you use the HP E2418A software, use the Duplicate Disk
operation in the disk menu of your logic analyzer to make a duplicate
copy of the HP E2418A master disk. Store the master disk and use the
back-up copy to configure your logic analyzer. This
will
help prevent
the possibility of losing or destroying the original files in the event the
disk wears out, is damaged, or a file is accidentally deleted.
