Troubleshooting

Problem
The appliance does not
work even though it is
plugged in to the wall
socket and switched
on.
The water tank is
empty but the
indictor is still on.
There is no air
dehumidification
in the room or the
dehumidifying
effectivenessislow.
Water leaks from the
dehumidifier.
Thedehumidifierdoes
not collect water.
Theairflowthatcomes
out of the air outlet is
significantlyweaker
than before.
Thedehumidifier
produces a unpleasant
smell.
Thedehumidifieris
loud.

Possible solution
• Thetimerissettoaspecifictimeinterval.Resetorturnoffthetimer.
• Tryadifferentelectricalsocketorcheckthewallswitch.
• Makesurethatthewatertankisemptyandplacedinthe
dehumidifierproperly.
• Removethewatertankfromthedehumidifierandplaceitbacktothe
dehumidifieragain.
• Makesuretheairinletandoutletarenotblocked.
• Theroomhumidityisbelowwhatthedehumidifierissetto.Selecta
lower humidity level.
• Makesurethatnoexteriordoorsorwindowsareopen.
• The current temperature is low in the room. Try again until the
temperature rises up.
• Makesurethatthedehumidifierisingoodconditionandthewater
tank is not cracked.
• Thehumidityislow.Thedehumidifierautomaticallyresumesworking
when the humidity level is increased.
• The temperature is low. Wait until the temperature rises up.
• Thebackcoverisdirty.Cleanthebackcover(seechapter"Cleaning").
• Thefirstfewtimesyouusethedehumidifier,itmayproduceaplastic
smell. This is normal.
• Ifthedehumidifierproducesaburntodor,switchOFFandunplug

lower fan speed.
