Disassemble the LCD module

The LCD module as a whole is not a FRU. Instead, it contains several FRUs as its components. Before
disassembling the LCD module, make sure it has been detached from the upper case. Refer to "Remove the
upper case(with keyboard)" on page 50 for instructions.
There are two different types of LCD module for Lenovo IdeaPad S540-14: the Bezel LCD module and the
Glass LCD module. Some disassembling steps differ between the two modules.

Remove the LCD panel

Make sure the following FRUs (CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 33
"Remove the battery pack" on page 34
"Remove the Wi-Fi card" on page 38
"Remove the upper case(with keyboard)" on page 50
Step 1. Press the two sides of the hinge cover to disengage the hooks inside it, and then remove it.
