Overheated Camera
Dash cams are electronic devices that contain various components, including a processor, memory, camera lens, and other circuitry. When it's in use, it generates heat due to the power consumption and operation of these components. The heat generated during operation can cause the camera to heat up. Rest assured that our dash cams are equipped with radiators and vents to dissipate heat, and they operate within a temperature range of of -4°F (-20°C) to 149°F (65°C). The dash cam can still work normally though it heats up. We recommend you turn on the air conditioning to dispel the heat inside your car before using your camera. Besides, we suggest parking your car in a location that allows for sufficient air and protects your dash cam from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
First Use
Please read and understand warnings & safety instructions before operating.

Getting Started
Memory card use
To record videos, you need a compatible memory card (sold separately). We recommend you use a Samsung/Sandisk/Kingston Class 10 U3 or high memory card for your D4 Pro dash cam. This dash cam supports a memory card of up to 256GB.
Warm tips:

- You need to complete the formatting process each time you insert the memory card.

Install the Hardwire Kit (sold separately)
This camera comes with a built-in battery designed specifically for parking mode.
To activate parking mode, it is necessary to leave the dash cam plugged in. However, this can result in battery drain. For this reason, we highly recommend installing a hardwire kit for your dash cam.
Installing the hardwire kit not only helps prevent the camera battery from draining the car battery thanks to its smart low voltage protection system but also provides a continuous and stable power supply.
Kind reminder:
For your safety, we strongly advise that you have a professional installer handle the hardwire kit installation.
Introduction of Important Feature
Why does Kingslim make this function button?
Kingslim is dedicated to continuously improving their products based on customer feedback. Quite a few customer customers expressed their desire for a dash cam that can record the interior of the car during both driving and parking. Unfortunately, only a few front and rear cameras available in the market support emergency interior recording.
Kingslim did it!
- With two years' efforts in R & D, Kingslim's developers have successfully designed the front camera to rotate up to 220°, allowing it to temporarily function as a cabin camera.
- To activate this feature, simply press the designated button
during recording. The camera will flip the Preview interface and switch to the recording screen.
![]()
The camera rotation feature is designed to be used under emergencies only! Using this feature at night is likely to have a negative impact on the recording as no IRCUT fill-in light is equipped for the front camera.
