Product Description

This is a supplement for a wireless LAN network, which can expand the scale of your WiFi signal. It is useful, convenient, and easy to install.

Structure Description

WPS/Reset

Press the button for 1-2 seconds to repeat automatically. Pressing the button for 10 seconds restores factory settings, the middle so-state lamp will flash for a while when the restoration to factory settings is successful.

1. Unplug the device during thunderstorms and prevent it from lightning damage.
2. Keep the device away from heat.
3. Make sure the device is in a well ventilated area.
4. Pay attention to waterproofing when storing, transporting and operating the device.

Product Installation

Note: If the router has a WPS button, you need to choose the WPS "one key to repeater" option to set up the device. If not, please enter the ip address 192.168.10.1 to set up your device.

Press WPS on the repeater and match automatically

Plug the WiFi repeater into an outlet near the WiFi router: Press the WPS button on the main router for 1-2 seconds. Then, press the WPS button on the repeater for 1-2 seconds within 50 seconds. Wait for about 30 seconds, the repeater will repeat the action automatically. The WiFi indicator will switch itself off for a while and light up again when a repeat is successful. Finally, a new extended WiFi signal named as "Your original WiFi name – Plus" will show up on your WiFi list. (eg: XXXX-Plus)

Please make sure that the device didn't repeat your other router net when you pressed the WPS button to repeat. Otherwise, you will have to press the Reset button to restore the factory settings of the device.

Note:
Please check whether the button on the router is WPS or QSS.
Please check whether the WPS on the router is open (enter the router interface to check).

Input IP Setting

Plug the WiFi repeater into an outlet. Conenct the WiFi name of "COMFAST_XXXX" with your mobile device (cell phone or tablet).

Open your browser and input the 192.168.10.1 IP address. After the site loads, input the user name and password "admin".

Change the default language from Chinese to English, enter the default password "admin" and click the "Log In" button to enter the setting page.

1. Please select a WiFi that you want to extend (if no WiFi signal is available, please click the Scan button again).
   
2. Please enter the WiFi password from your router and click connect. (Default new WiFi name).
   
3. Extension was successful, please wait 1 minute to complete the resetting process and connect the WiFi again, you can now browse the internet.
   

Description

More functions (eg: AP mode, router mode), please link up the device with a PC, connect it to the WAN port of the PC with the included internet cable and enter the IP address 192.168.10.1 to website entry, you can access the PC settings page there.

Common Problems

Q: Why can I not surf the internet after setting up the product successfully?
A: Please check whether the password was input correctly. If not, please enter the correct password.

Q: Why is the network speed is very slow after setting the device up successfully?
A: Please enter the device status page to check whether the "Equipment and the main AP distance" is fit. If not, you can adjust the position of the repeater.

How to check the status page: after connecting to the extended WiFi successfully, you can enter the IP address 192.168.10.1 on your mobile's browser or on PC to check the status of the repeater.

Note: Please make sure that the IP address from the upper network is not 192.168.10.1.
