1-3. Installing BBU
In this section, explains how to install this product to a system (Express5800/110Ge-S).
2.5 inches disk model are different from 3.5 inches disk model in installation point and
installation procedure.

Please refer to each manual except 110Ge-S.

1-3-1. Preparations before the installation

Push the POWER switch and turn off the power supply of the system.
2.
Pull the power supply cord of the system out of a power point.
3.
Refer to Users Guide, and please remove the side cover of the system and a front
mask.
4.
When a RAID controller is installed, take off a center bar and take off built-in SAS
cable and remove a RAID controller
