    INSTALLATION POSITION Place the main unit on a smooth, stable surface in a room, and insert the plug into an electrical socket. Installation Guidance Leave at least 0cm of clearance behind the unit. UPSIDE more than 60cm SIDE more than 10cm OPERATION Press the Mode Button to directly turn on the power and select the preferred mode.

    CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING: When cleaning the unit, be sure to first unplug the power cord, and never handle the plug with wet hands. Electric shock and/or bodily injury may occur as a result. MAIN UNIT Every month or more often if necessary Wipe with a dry soft cloth.

See page E- for directions on how to remove and install the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit when cleaning.

    REPLACEMENT OF PLASMACLUSTER ION GENERATING UNIT Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit Model IZ-CCL5U * Before replacing the Plasmacluster Ion Generating Unit, be sure to turn off the main unit, unplug the power cord, and never handle the plug with wet hands. Remove the filter.

    • Remove dust from the needle electrode. (See page E-0) If the lights are still flashing after cleaning filter, unplug and contact the store you purchased or Sharp service center. • Filter is getting dirty. Clean the filter. After cleaning the filter, press Filter Reset Button for 3 seconds.
