    FileVault is an encryption system available on some Mac computers. When enabled, it might prevent Bluetooth® devices from connecting with your computer if you have not yet logged in. If you have FileVault enabled, we recommend using a Logitech USB receiver to use your mouse. If you need more information, click here.

Backlighting disabled There are two factors that will disable backlighting: When your keyboard has only 10% of battery left when you try to enable backlighting, this message will appear.

  • Page 11 Enable SmartShift Select Enable from the SmartShift pull-down menu on the Point and scroll tab. Turn off SmartShift by selecting Disable from the SmartShift pull-down menu. When SmartShift is disabled, spinning or braking the scroll wheel has no effect on the current scrolling mode.
