IGNITER LIGHTING
1. Turn on the side burner gas controlknob. (Fig.24)
2. Engagethe igniterswitchseveraltimes(4 to 5) untilthe
flameignites•
3, If the flame doesn'timmediatelylight, turn off control knob

and wait for five minutesfor gas to clear,
4. Repeat steps 1 through3.

5. If the burner does not light after trying again,turnoff knob

and try matchlightingthe burner. HINT: If the igniterfails to

light the side burner,adjust electrodetipwith needle-nose

pliers. A spark mustjump near a gas openingin the burner
when igniteris activated. Use care notto damagethe

MATCH LIGHTING
1. Strike and placethe burningmatchnear the burnergas
port holes.
2. Turn on side burnergas control knob. This shouldcause
the burnerto light.

• Make sure potor pan is centeredon sideburner. (Fig.24a)
