Before You Remove the Battery...
Note the following items before you begin battery replacement.
CAUTION
•
Disconnect power to the D400 before changing the battery.
•
Avoid exposure to high temperatures, such as soldering or spot-welding
•
Avoid excessive force to terminals
•
Use extreme caution and proper procedures for servicing electro statically sensitive
components. Electro statically sensitive components are located near the battery.
Note: Removing the battery will cause the internal clock to reset.
Supported Battery Types
The D400 is supplied with a 1/2AA 3.6 V 0.9 Ah Lithium non-rechargeable battery. The
following battery types may be used as a replacement.
