To install and use the USB cable
Uninstall any previously used mobile
phone communication software, such
as synchronization software, from your
computer.
1 Computer: Install the Sony Ericsson
PC Suite from the CD that comes with
your phone.

Connect the USB cable to your phone
and the computer.

to synchronize with the computer
or to use your phone as a modem.

For safe disconnection of the USB

Windows Explorer and select Eject.

Remove the USB cable from your
phone.

Update service

Keep your phone updated with the
latest software. When a new software
version is available, you can download
and install it without affecting the user
data in your phone.
Choose one of the following methods
to update your phone:

over the air via your phone or

online via the provided USB cable
and an Internet-connected
computer.
The Update service requires data access
(GPRS). Your operator will provide you
with a subscription with data access and
with price information.
