Setting the file recording destination

Select the location for storing the recorded file.
Internal memory Stores the recorded files in the internal memory.
SD card
Stores the recorded files in the SD card.

Sync recording for starting recording in
synchronism with music or voice
This function starts recording or divides the current recorded file into two at the same
time as the start of music or voice input.
Off
Sync recording disabled.
Auto sync
Recording starts automatically at the start of music and pauses when no-input status has lasted
for 2 seconds. A new recorded file is created every time recording is started.
Auto divide
The current recorded file is divided automatically at the start of music.

Start recording.
• Simply setting sync recording does not start actual recording.
• The default sync recording setting before this unit left the factory is "Off".
• Start of music or voice is detected only after no-input status has lasted for 2 seconds or more.
• When recording using the built-in microphones or an external microphone, the detection level
of the start of music or voice can be adjusted. (page 31)
