When you start printing or copying, a message is displayed.
Check the contents of the displayed message, press the OK button and then choose one of the following.
Print on set paper
Select if you want to print/copy on the paper loaded without changing the paper settings.
For example, when the paper setting for printing/copying is A5 and the paper information registered
to the printer is A4, the printer starts printing/copying on the paper loaded in the front tray without
changing the paper size setting for printing/copying.
Replace the paper
Select if you want to print after replacing the paper of the front tray.
For example, when the paper size setting for printing/copying is A5 and the paper information
registered to the printer is A4, you load A5 sized paper in the front tray before you start printing/
copying.
The paper information registration screen is displayed after replacing the paper. Register the paper
information according to the paper that you loaded.

my canon printer TR4720 will go from perfect printing to printing a mass of black and eventually goes back to perfect printing again.
How do you replace an empty ink cartridge?
To replace an empty ink cartridge in the Canon PIXMA TR4700 Series:
1. Turn on the printer and open the front door.
2. Open the paper output tray and the ink cartridge chamber door by pressing it down and pulling it out.
3. Wait for the ink cartridges to move into the middle position.
4. Push down the ink cartridge lock lever to release the empty cartridge, then remove it.
5. Prepare the new cartridge by taking it out of its package and removing the protective tape.
6. Insert the new cartridge straight into the correct slot:
- Black ink cartridge goes into the right slot.
- Color ink cartridge goes into the left slot.
7. Push the ink cartridge lock lever up to secure the cartridge.
8. Close the ink cartridge chamber door and check for any error messages.

To connect the Canon PIXMA TR4720 to a wireless router:
