2. Firmware Upgrade Guide
Firmware is embedded software within hardware, and upgrading it further enhances system stability
and feature sets.
Unnoticed changes in unit features and performance may occur after firmware upgrade. Be
advised that Beta (non-official version) firmware may cause system malfunctions.
To check current firmware version:
Settings -> Information
Back up all data before firmware upgrade.

3. WINCE Upgrade
WINCE upgrade pack is available for additional cost. The upgrade pack includes office viewer
feature and upgrades OS to WINCE Professional Plus.
Refer to WINCE upgrade package manual for upgrade instruction.
Additionally, some office file may not be viewed after upgrade using WINCE Professional Plus, and
viewing experience on Q5W may differ from viewing from PC.
