1. Standard performance (*1) is based on the following operating conditions. Temperature is based
on the dew point.
Evaporating temperature
Condensing temperature
Degree of subcooling for liquid refrigerants
Degree of superheat of suction gas
Ambient temperature
Cooling of the compressor
2. The maximum allowable current (*2) is based on the following over-load condition.
Overload condition should not be continuous.
Evaporating temperature
(suction gas pressure)
Condensing temperature
(discharge gas pressure)
Operating voltage
3. IP rating (*3) does not take the cable gland into consideration.
To connect power lines with the terminals in the power supply terminal box, a cable gland specified
in 12-3 should be prepared and installed by each customer. The cable gland should be applied to
specified IP code (*3) and its level should be confirmed at prototype test.
4. Shock & vibration test
This compressor was examined under the standard installation environment using Vibration Proof
Rubber, which is the Hitachi standard mounting assembly and was confirmed to meet the
standards "IEC61373 (1999), Category 1, Class B." When you use a product other than the
specified rubber hardness product, it is necessary to confirm that the above standards are met.
Otherwise, there may be problems such as, in the worst case scenario, breakage of legs of the
compressor due to abnormal vibrations.
5. Purpose of Use
The compressor shall not be used for purposes other than vehicle air conditioning.
4．RELATED LAWS AND REGULATIONS
IEC60335-1(2010)/ EN60335-1(2012) and IEC60335-2-34(2012)/ EN60335-2-34(2013) shall
apply.
5．COMMON SPECIFICATIONS FOR COMPRESSORS
5.1 Appearance
Black coating shall be applied to the entire surface of the compressor, and there should be no
significant scratches, dents, peeled paint, and rust in appearance.
5.2 Marking
The nameplate that describes the following contents shall be attached in a visible position on
the surface of the compressor using a method that is difficult to peel off:
Compressor model, type of refrigerant, number of poles, number of phases, rated voltage,
rated frequencies, production month and year, rated output of motor, locked rotor current,
refrigerant oil enclosed capacity, compressor weight, production number, maximum allowable
pressure (design pressure), maximum/minimum allowable temperature, IP codes.
