Observe the following precautions when storing the
printer and the partially used Ink Supply Units that
were removed.
"Notes for when not using the printer" on page 26
"Notes on Handling Ink Supply Units/Cleaning
Ink Supply Units" on page 26
Restarting use of the printer
Important:
When restarting use of the printer, charge the
printer with ink. When charging with ink supply
units that were removed, have new ink supply
units on hand as a precaution.
Turn on the printer, and then follow the instructions
on the control panel to replace the Waste Ink Bottle
and install the Ink Supply Units.
Press How To... on the screen to view the work
procedure.
Note:
When White ink mode is selected, after restarting use of
the printer, the density of the White ink may be low. If
the density is too low, see the following.
"Not enough or uneven whiteness" on page 124

Disposal

The following used parts with adhered ink or
pre-treatment liquid are classified as industrial waste.
❏ Cleaning stick
❏ Clean-room wiper
❏ Soft cloth
❏ Ink cleaner
❏ Waste ink
❏ Waste ink bottle
❏ Wiper unit
❏ Capping station
❏ Flushing pad
❏ Media after printing
❏ Empty Ink Supply Units, Cleaning Ink Supply
Units, and used pre-treatment liquid units
❏ Funnel filter
Dispose of tube cleaning liquid according to your local
laws and statutes such as entrusting it to an industrial
waste disposal company. In such cases, submit the
"Safety data sheet" to the industrial waste disposal
company.
