12Vdc battery. It is recommended that a 12Vdc, 7.0Ah valve regulated lead-acid type battery is used (Videx part no. NP7-12). The power supply has an inline fuseholder (with pull-up latch for easy fuse replacement) that is used to connect 230Vac mains input.

It is a bus exchange device which allows the VX2200 digital system to be expanded up to 998 apartments. There are two applications in which this unit can be used.
