8. Install the new optical drive board.
9. Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order of the removal steps mentioned above.
10. Reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the power cord to the electric outlet.

Power switch board

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
Before you open the computer cover, turn off the computer and wait several minutes until the computer is
cool.
Replacement procedure
1. Turn off the computer and remove all connected devices and cables.
2. Remove the computer stand cover. See "Computer stand cover" on page 59.
3. Remove the computer stand. See "Computer stand" on page 60.
4. Remove the optical drive. See "Optical drive" on page 61.
5. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 64.
6. Disconnect the Power switch board cable and then remove the power switch board.
7. Install the new power switch board.
8. Reinstall the removed parts in reverse order of the removal steps mentioned above.
