Changing Settings for Taking Photos
You can change various settings for the camera. The setting will change each time you press
the respective keys from the Finder display.
P Photo Light, Close-up Mode, Night Mode, White Balance, Color Tone and Select Size can also be set from the sub-menu.
P If you once set Select Size, Image Quality, Shutter Sound and Define Storage, the settings are retained until you change
them next time.
P Zoom, Brightness, Photo Light, Close-up Mode, Night Mode, or White Balance is reset to its default when Camera Mode
ends. Color Tone is reset to its default when the shot still image is saved.

The following functions are operated from the sub-menu:

❈ 1 The maximum magnification differs depending on the size of the image.
i-shot (S) size, Sub screen size : Maximum 10 magnifications,
Screen size, i-shot (L) size : Maximum 4 magnifications.
You cannot adjust the size of subject if you set the shooting size to "VGA size". If you change the shooting size from
VGA to other size, zooming becomes "Equivalent".
❈ 2 You cannot set Close-up Mode and Night Mode at the same time.

Zooms out/ in at 25 stages.
Makes the image darker/brighter at 5 stages.
Turns on the photo light.
Intensifies the contour.
Improves the camera's sensitivity in dark locations.
Auto
: Adjusts white balance automatically.
Light bulb : Best fits when shooting under electric bulb.
Fine weather: Best fits for shooting when it is fine.
Cloudy weather:
Best fits when shooting in the shade or when it is cloudy.
Normal
: Sets color tone to normal.
Monochrome : Sets color tone to monochrome.
Sepia
: Sets color tone to color of old pictures.
Negative : Sets color tone to color of a negative film.
Takes in i-shot (S) size.

Superfine : Saves with high quality.
Fine
: Saves with standard quality.
