General General The VMI Vision System (VVS) is used to center breaker, carcass, and tread material before application of the material to the Tire Building Machine (TBM) drums. For this function it is connected to the TBM central controller (the PLC). From the PLC, VVS receives commands, and VVS sends feedback on the centering result to the PLC.
