How to Use the Can Opener

- Place Can Opener on level surface.
- Plug into outlet.
- Raise Piercing Lever up.
- Place rim of can firmly under Can Guide Pin and against the Geared Wheel.
- Press Piercing Lever down to pierce can; can will begin to turn and cut Lid. It is not necessary to hold Piercing Lever down or hold can during cutting action.
- Can Opener will automatically stop when the can is open.
- Remove can from Can Opener and check can contents to remove any pieces of label.
To store and lock cord: When finished, unplug and push excess cord into back of Can Opener. To lock, turn cord sideways and slide up into Cord Lock Slot.
How to Use the Knife Sharpener

- Place cutting edge of knife in the knife slot located on the back of the Can Opener.
- Draw the knife blade through the slot several times.
- Clean knife after sharpening.
NOTE: To prevent damage to Can Opener and knives, do not insert serrated blades into this unit.
Care and Cleaning

Electrical Shock Hazard. Do not immerse the can opener in water or any other liquid.
- Unplug.
- To remove the Cutting Assembly: Press Cutting Assembly Release Button.

- Cutting Assembly is dishwasher-safe on top rack only. DO NOT use "SANITIZE" setting when washing in dishwasher. "SANITIZE" cycle temperatures could damage your product.
- Wipe the Can Opener Base and the area behind the Cutting Assembly with a damp cloth. Never immerse the Can Opener in water or other liquids.
- To insert Cutting Assembly: Align Cutting Assembly with opening and insert until it clicks into place.
Tips for Best Use
- The Can Opener will easily open all standard size cans.
- If there is a bump, dent, or heavy seam in rim of can, open other end of the can or position the Cutting Assembly to start opening just beyond the problem.
- The motor of your Can Opener is permanently lubricated and will require no oiling.
- To use cord storage on back of opener, push in or pull out cord as needed.
- To lock the cord, turn cord sideways and slide up into Cord Lock Slot.
- If Piercing Lever does not move freely, remove and clean the Cutting Assembly.
- Make sure lip of can sits fully on Geared Wheel for best operation.
- Make sure Magnetic Lid Holder is secure on can lid before starting to open can.
