TrueLife FitScale W3 - Smart Wireless Scale Manual

Introduction

The TrueLife FitScale W3 smart wireless scales measures body weight using bioelectric impedance analysis (BIA). BIA technology is used to measure body fat and gather data on the body's overall composition. The TrueLife FitScale W3 measures weight, fat, water, bone mass, muscle mass, calories, and body mass index (BMI). The scale is for home use only.

• To achieve consistent and accurate readings, please use at the same time the day, under approximately the same conditions, if possible. Avoid weighing in the following situations:

1. During or immediately after a hard workout
2. Just after a shower, bath or sauna
3. After high alcohol consumption
4. During or immediately after a meal
5. During a fever

• The unit of weight measurement can be changed from kilograms (kg) to pounds (lb.) by pressing the button at the bottom of the scale. Height units (metre / foot) will also be changed.
• Position the scales correctly on a flat surface or a solid surface. The weight should show 0.0 kg before use.
  
• To measure body fat and other body parameters correctly: stand upright with even weight distribution on both feet. The scale automatically switches on when you stand on it. Weigh yourself barefoot and stand straight. Weighing yourself whilst wearing socks will give inaccurate results. Dirty feet can also affect the readings.
• After measuring your body weight, your scale will measure body parameters using BIA which will appear on the display. You can check the results within a few seconds, and the results are repeated on the display.
  

Settings

TrueLife FitScale W3 personal scale supports multiple users (P1-P8). Follow the instructions below to set up your personal profile.

1. Profile Settings
   Hold your finger on SET to enter Settings.
   The system asks you to select the profile number (P1-P8). The icon „P1" blinks as shown below. To select a different profile, press the keys or . Press the „SET" button to confirm the setting.
   
2. Gender Settings
   After selecting the profile number, the system automatically moves on to setting the gender.
   Like the image below the icon flashes. The user can hold the button or to select gender. Press the „SET" button to confirm the setting. Athlete Mode: Athlete is defined as an adult who is engaged in intense physical activity about 12 hours a week and has a heart rate at rest of about 60 beats per minute or less.
   
3. Height Settings
   After you confirm your gender, the system will guide you to the height selection. As shown in the figure below, the number flashes on the display. By holding down the button, or the user sets their height. (Range 100 cm to 220 cm). Press the „SET" button to confirm the setting.
   
4. Age Settings
   After you've confirmed your height, the system moves on to your age settings. As shown in the figure below, the number flashes on the display. By holding down the button or the user sets their age.
   Press the „SET" button to confirm the setting.
   
5. Setting Goals
   Once you have confirmed your age, the system will guide you to the goals setting. As shown in the figure below, the number flashes on the display. By holding down the button or the user sets a specific target. Press the „SET" button to confirm the setting.
