Video resolutions
HD refers to High Definition, while fps refers to Frames Per Second. A higher fps
rate provides a smoother video, at the cost of a larger file size. The aspect ratio is
the relationship between the width and the height, where the width is the first
number.
Main camera:
Full HD (30 fps)
1920×1080 (16:9). Full HD format with 30 fps and 16:9 aspect ratio.
Full HD (60 fps)
1920×1080 (16:9). Full HD format with 60 fps and 16:9 aspect ratio.
HD
1280×720 (16:9). HD format with 16:9 aspect ratio.
VGA
640×480 (4:3). VGA (Video Graphics Array) format with 4:3 aspect ratio.
Front camera:
Full HD
1920×1080 (16:9). Full HD format with 16:9 aspect ratio.
HD
1280×720 (16:9). HD format with 16:9 aspect ratio.
VGA
640×480 (4:3). VGA (Video Graphics Array) format with 4:3 aspect ratio.

Diagnosing your camera

If your camera isn´t working properly, you can run a diagnostics test to identify if
there is a problem with the main camera, front camera, flash or camera key.
To run a diagnostics test of your camera

Make sure you are connected to the internet. When using the camera, tap

Tap More.

Tap Help and select Camera, Front camera, Flash or Camera button.

Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
