INSTALLATION

1. Place one of the Extender 1600 Units close to your gateway / modem / router.
   
2. Connect the Extender 1600 Unit to your gateway/modem/router with ethernet cable
   
3. Plug one of the power adapters first into the product and then to a power socket. Turn on the unit.
   
4. Wait until both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz LEDs are solid green.
   
5. In the room in which the router is located, position the other Extender 1600 unit at a distance of around three meters from the first Extender 1600 unit .
   
6. Plug the other power adapter of the other Extender 1600 Unit into a power socket and turn on the unit.
   
7. Wait until both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz LEDs are flashing green. ( 4 seconds ON, 4 seconds OFF)
   
8. Press the Connect buttons on both Extender 1600 Units.
   
9. The LEDs of Extender 1600 Unitswill start flashing and the devices will Connect automatically.
   
10. Congratulations, you have successfully configured your Extender 1600 Units.
    NOTE: If the 5GHz LED on the Extender 1600 Unit does not light up green within five minutes, please repeat step 8.
11. Unplug the second Extender 1600 Unit and plug it in one of the rooms of your house.
    
12. The connection will be established automatically.
    
    Congratulations! You have successfully located Extender 1600 Units.
13. You can now connect all your wireless devices such as laptops, smart phones or tablets to your new ultra fast Wi-Fi network. For this, use the factory default name and password written on the label located on the bottom of the first Extender 1600 Unit connected to your router.
    
    1. OPTIONAL
       You can change network name (SSID) and password of your network. Open the web browser and type http://extender1600.local to the address bar.
       
    2. OPTIONAL
       Change SSID and password in the quick set up wizard menu.
       (Default login password is blank).

The best tips for usage!
For an ultimate performance of your new Wi-Fi network, please disable the Wi-Fi of your current Gateway/Router (please refer to the user manual of your Gateway/Router if the device does not have a Wi-Fi on/off button).
