For children who cannot sit up
unassisted, the
on the car seat MUST be parallel with the
ground using either Position 3 or 2.
For children who can sit up unassisted,
you may make the car seat more upright
in Position 2.

The car seat base MUST be
flat on the vehicle seat.
Rear-Facing Level Line
Locate Rear-Facing
Belt Path & Route
Vehicle Belt or
Lower Anchor Belt
Through It
For the LATCH belt: You
may need to fully lengthen
the belt before routing it
into the belt path. Squeeze
the adjuster button and pull
the belt out as shown.
Pull the entire lower anchor
belt over to the child's right
as shown.
Then route the hook on the
adjuster end through the
Rear-Facing Belt
in
Path.
