If inflight engine fire is present and leads into a forced landing, the chance of surviving this event are rather small after the first two minutes.

7.3 FLIGHT CONTROLS The STOL CH 750 is equipped with a dual flight Y-control stick. The classic rudder pedals, connected to a large-diameter steerable nose wheel for easy of ground handling, are equipped with toe-brake hydraulic pedals on the pilot side.

The nose gear uses a heavy-duty bungee shock absorber to provide rough field capabilities.

HB-YRC 7.9 POWERPLANT The Zenith STOL 750 is powered by an air and liquid cooled Rotax 912 ULS (100hp), four stroke, four cylinder engine. The Rotax 912ULS is equipped with dual carburetors and dual electronic ignition system with soft start module.

Fuel shutoff valve is located on the middle console. Each fuel tank filler cap has a vent snorkel. Sumps are located in the bottom of each wing near the trailing edges of the doors.
