1 Device Appearance Device Appearance Huawei OptiXstar S890H is an XGS-PON mini ONU that supports XGS-PON upstream access and provides one 10GE Ethernet port on the user side. ● When inserting a fiber, ensure that the end face of the fiber is clean. Installation Preparations The S890H must be used with the Huawei OptiXaccess S1016 power module and indoor Wi-Fi 6 AP. Before installation, ensure that the Huawei OptiXaccess S1016 power module, indoor Wi-Fi 6 AP, photoelectric composite cable, network cable, and related installation tools are available. - Page 7 10 cm away from the AP edge and side wall. Do not install it directly above an AP. Installing the S890H Step 1 When installing an indoor AP, secure the sheet metal mounting bracket, drill holes near the mounting bracket, and route cables. - Page 8 Step 3 Route the connected S890H through the cable hole, place it in the ceiling, and push it inwards away from the position directly above the AP along the cable route until it is at least 10 cm away from the AP edge and side wall.
