Replacing the lock

The following procedure gives the details for changing a
lock on the terminal.
1. This procedure assumes you have followed the direc-
tions in Preparing the terminal for maintenance on
page 2-2 and Opening and closing the terminal on
page 2-6.
It is not necessary to disconnect the power for this
procedure, it is recommended that you do so.
DO CONNECT your ESD strap to an ESD point
inside the terminal, such as the locking tiebars on
the side of the rear terminal housing.
2. Ensure that the key operates the lock.
3. Insert the lock assembly in the double D hole in the
front housing with the key slot pointing to the open
edge of the housing.

4. Thread the large, flat nut over the lock assembly and
lock in place using a 7/8-inch wrench.
