DISPLAY State of charge meter (SOC) shows the percentage of battery life, or State of Charge. SOC State of Charge Battery Voltage When turning the key switch on, the directional switch must be in neutral, or error code #82 will appear on the display, and the car will not run. VEHICLE CONTROLS Brake Pedal The Brake pedal is the pedal on the left, when depressed it will apply the vehicle braking system. The park brake is an electromagnetic motor brake. It is controlled by the controller (ECU). When the car starts moving the park brake is released, when the vehicle stops moving and the accelerator is released the park brake will engage.

VEHICLE CONTROLS Directional Switch Placing the directional switch in the left position (#1) is the Forward direction. Placing the switch in the right position (#3) is the Reverse direction. Placing the switch in the middle position (#2) is the Neutral Position. The switch needs to be in Neutral when turning the key switch on.

OPERATING THE VEHICLE Slippery Surfaces When driving on loose gravel, water or ice drive slowly and be cautious as loss of traction can cause the vehicle to slide or skid out of your control. Drive slowly and be alert to how the vehicle feels, it is not recommended to apply the brakes while in a skid/slide.

OPERATING THE VEHICLE Through Water Driving through water can decrease brake performance, after driving through water, lightly depress the brake pedal to assess brake performance, if the brakes have been affected by the water, repeat the process until brake control has returned. Driving the vehicle through water in not recommended and should be avoided.
CHARGING THE VEHICLE Charging the Battery (LiFePo4) batteries do not develop a memory, Charging after each use will not harm the battery, and will ensure you are ready for your next venture. After operating the vehicle, park close to a dedicated A/C outlet with a recommended 20amp circuit.

CHARGING THE VEHICLE Prolonged battery/vehicle storage The optimum storage temperature range is from 60°f to 86°f (15°C to 30°C) Charge the battery completely, turn off the vehicle and all accessories, remove the charging cord then turn the battery off at its power button on the side of the battery case.(Gen 2) When the battery is powered on there is a green light illuminating the power button, there is no green light when the battery is off.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE Lifting the Vehicle Only lift one end of the vehicle at a time to prevent tipping, when the vehicle is not lifted chocks at the wheels are recommended. Always use safe practices while working under a vehicle lifted off the ground, personal injury will result if the vehicle falls off the jack or stands.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE Tire Pressure. Depending on tire size, pressure should be between 18 and 22 psi Optimum tire pressure is when %80 of the tire is contacting the ground. See below for reference. Tire Wear Depending on the pattern of the wear, it could be caused from low/High tire pressure, poor alignment, damage in the front suspension, or even dangerous excessive high-speed cornering.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE Tire Replacement. When changing wheels, they must all be the same size and style. If you install different size wheels then what came on your vehicle, the display may indicate the incorrect speed your vehicle is traveling, you will need to have your local dealer reprogram your controller to correctly calibrate the speedometer settings.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE Fuses and Locations The Main fuse is located under the controller (ECU) cover under the seat on the Passenger side. Remove the controller cover to access the fuse holder, pull up on the fuse holder for inspection. Never replace a fuse with a higher rated fuse or damage to the electrical system may occur.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE Error Codes Error codes are generated when the information gathered from all the switches and sensors throughout the vehicle does not fall within the set parameters of the vehicles controller (ECU). Error codes will be noted on the display and/or with a series of beeps from the reverse buzzer.
TRANSPORTING A VEHICLE Towing a Vehicle This vehicle is equipped with an electric parking brake, when the car is turned off, the park brake is automatically engaged. To disengage the park brake to push or tow the car there is a Tow/Run switch under the seat located on the controller (ECU) cover.

TRANSPORTING A VEHICLE Towing a Vehicle. Never let passengers ride in/on any vehicle being towed. Do not tow a vehicle on any public roads. Never exceed 5 mph while towing the vehicle. Use approved tow straps to get the vehicle to a trailer or truck, do not tow for long distances.
