PORTABLE UNIT

Remove the battery cover of the Door Chime. Insert 3 X 1.5V Size 'AA' batteries. Make sure the Positive/Negative terminals match the internal markings. Chime will 'Beep' on Start up. Replace the battery cover

  1. Press and hold the 'VOL' buttons on your door chime, until the chimes 'Beep Beep' (6 Seconds).
  2. Press the bell push within 60 seconds to learn the bell push to the chimes. The chimes will ring to confirm setup, wait 60 seconds for the chimes to exit the learn mode before repressing the bell push.

NOT WORKING....TRY A FACTORY RESET

Press and hold the 'VOL' button on your Door Chime, until the Chime goes 'Beep Beep' (6 Seconds). Release the 'VOL' button. Re-press and hold the 'VOL' button on your Door Chime, until the Chime goes 'Beep' (6 Seconds). The Chime is now reset. > 3

POSITIONING YOUR CHIME

Test the Chime in the intended location, as internal walls and surfaces may reduce operating range. DO NOT mount onto metallic surfaces.

MELODY SELECTION

Remove the back plate from the bell push
Press the melody select button. The chime will play the newly selected sound. Press again to select the next melody.

To select the chime volume level, press the 'VOL' button on the chime there are 4 selectable volume levels, the door chime is pre-set to the loudest volume setting.

warningATTENTION:
Avoid positioning the Bell Push/Chime on or directly near metallic surfaces as this may reduce the operation range.
UPVC Door Frames:
When positioning the bell push onto a UPVC door, always check the operating performance before final installation, internal metal frame of the door may affect performance.
Tip: Try adjusting the location of the Bell Push slightly to the Left/Right or place on an external wall.
Note: the appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

In case of the door chime does not sound, please check the followings:

  1. Flat batteries in either push button or door chime.
  2. Wrong battery polarity in either push button or door chime.
  3. For plug-in door chimes make sure the socket is switched on.
  4. Bell push and door chime are not paired together, see setup guide.
  5. Materials in between the bell push & chime will reduce the operating range, move the door chime closer to the bell push
  6. Wire free devices can be affected by external sources e.g. wirefree home alarms or power transformers/adapter
