My ERIM03 Thereye Portable Ice Makers CLEANING light is staying on. I put a mixture of vinegar and water in machine to MAX fill line. It will not cycle through and make ice. The CLEAN light goes off and when I press on ON/OFF it does not come on. HELP!!
The CLEAN light is on because the ice maker requires a self-cleaning cycle. The unit is not cycling or making ice likely due to one of the following reasons:
1. The ice-making assembly is frozen. Wait 20–45 minutes for it to defrost automatically, or unplug and restart the unit.
2. The water tank is empty. Fill it with water and press On/Off to restart.
3. The ice bin is full. Remove the ice; the unit will automatically resume or restart immediately.
4. A self-cleaning cycle is needed. Hold the Clean button for 3 seconds to start cleaning, then press On/Off to restart after cleaning.
