    The shipping container has been designed to assure maximum protection of the concentrator. If the concentrator is to be reshipped by common carrier, additional cartons are available from Invacare. UNPACKING 1. Check for any obvious damage to the carton or its contents. If damage is evident, notify the Carrier, or your local dealer.

    HANDLING HANDLING (CONTINUED) INTRODUCTION Your Oxygen Concentrator is intended for use in the home. It is an electronically operated device that separates oxygen from room air. It provides high concentration of oxygen directly to you through a nasal cannula or mask. Clinical studies have documented that oxygen concentrators are therapeutically equivalent to other types of oxygen delivery systems.

    OPERATION / MAINTENANCE POWER SWITCH 1. Press power switch to the position. The power light (I/O), located on the control panel, will illuminate a light. The alarm will "beep" three (3) times indicating that the system is functioning properly. FLOWRATE 1.

    OPERATION / MAINTENANCE INITIAL STARTUP OF THE CONCENTRATOR NOTE: Concentrator may be used during initial warm-up time (approximately 30 min.) while waiting for the GREEN light to illuminate. When the unit is initially turned on, the GREEN power LED (I/O) will illumi- nate.
