Install Batteries
Your headset radio requires two AAA batteries (not supplied) for power.
- Press
on the left speaker and slide the battery compartment cover up to remove it. - Place batteries in the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside.
- Replace the cover.

Battery Notes:
- Replace the batteries when the sound becomes weak or distorted,
flashes, or the headset radio stops operating properly. - Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
- Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, dierent types of batteries (alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of dierent capacities.
- If you do not plan to use the headset radio for a long time, remove the batteries.
Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.

Press and slide up to open the battery compartment. - E-BASS ON/OFF
Slide E-BASS ON/OFF to ON for an enhanced bass effect, or, slide it to OFF for a normal bass sound. - SOURCE
Connect the headset radio to an external input source (such as a stereo or CD player) using a shielded 1/8 -inch (3.5mm) cable (not supplied). - VOLUME
Rotate to adjust the volume of the headset radio. - L LEVEL
Rotate to adjust the volume level of the left speaker.

MEMORY
Store radio stations.
M-SELECT
Listen to stored stations or select a memory station number to program.
BAND
Select either the AM or the FM band. - LOCK
Slide in the direction of the arrow to lock all controls, except L LEVEL, R LEVEL, VOLUME, E-Bass ON/OFF and Source. - R LEVEL
Rotate to adjust the volume level of the right speaker.
Use your Headset Radio
- Press PWR to turn on the headset radio.
- PressBAND to select either the AM or the FM band.
- Press TUNING
or
to select a station, or hold down TUNING
or
to quickly navigate to a station. - Adjust the volume to a desired listening level.
Notes:
- A strong FM stereo signal automatically switches the headset radio from monaural to stereo.
- E-BASS and VOLUME have no eect when an external audio source is connected.
Use the volume controls on the external audio source to adjust the sound.
Program Stations
You can store 10 AM and 10 FM stations in memory.
- Select the desired band and station. Then press MEMORY.
- While
flashes, press M-SELECT repeatedly until the desired memory station number appears. - Press MEMORY again to store the station.
To listen to a stored station, press M-SELECT until the desired memory station number appears.
Listening Safety
Do not wear headphones, earphones, or earbuds while operating a motor vehicle or riding a bicycle. This can create a trac hazard and could be illegal in some areas.
To protect your hearing, follow these guidelines:
- Do not listen at high volume levels. Extended high-volume listening can lead to permanent hearing loss.
- Set the volume to the lowest setting. Then turn on your audio device and adjust the volume to a comfortable level.
- Avoid increasing the volume. Your ears will adapt to the volume level, so a level that does not cause discomfort could still damage your hearing.
Care and Service
- Keep the headset radio dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
- Use and store the headset radio only in normal temperature environments.
- Handle the headset radio carefully; do not drop it.
- Keep the headset radio away from dust and dirt, and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
- Modifying or tampering with the headset radio's internal components can cause a malfunction and might invalidate its warranty. If your receiver is not performing as it should, take it to your local dealer for assistance.
