INSTALLING THE 1-INCH FORWARD
REAR WHEEL POSITIONER

RECLINERS AND WHEELCHAIRS WITH 1-INCH FOR-
WARD REAR WHEEL POSITIONER ONLY: Anti-tip-

pers MUST BE attached at all times.

1. Remove both rear wheels from the wheelchair. Re-
fer to REMOVING/INSTALLING THE REAR
WHEELS in PROCEDURE 6 of this manual.
2. Position the right hand 1-inch forward rear wheel
positioner onto the right hand side of the wheelchair
frame (FIGURE 2).
NOTE: RIGHT and LEFT hand sides of the wheelchair
are determined from the users position.
3. Secure the 1-inch forward rear wheel positioner to
the wheelchair frame using the two (2) mounting
screws, spacers and locknuts.
4. Repeat STEPS 2-3 to Install the left hand 1-inch
forward wheel positioner.
4. Reinstall the rear wheels onto the 1-inch forward
brackets. Refer to REMOVING/INSTALLING THE
REAR WHEELS in PROCEDURE 6 of this manual.
5. If necessary, install the anti-tippers. Refer to INSTALL-
ING/ADJUSTING THE ANTI-TIPPERS in PROCE-
DURE 8 of this manual.

INSTALLING/ADJUSTING STROLLER
HANDLES (FIGURE 3)
Removing
1. Remove the detent pin that secures one (1) stroller
handle to one (1) of the back cane.
2. Remove the stroller handle
3. If necessary, repeat STEPS 1-2 for the opposite
stroller handle.
Installing
NOTE: Wheelchair MUST be OPEN before installing
stroller handles.
1. Perform one (1) of the following:
A. Wheelchairs 12-14 inches wide:
• Insert one (1) of the stroller handles into one (1)
of the back canes so that it is facing either TO-
WARD OR AWAY from the INSIDE of the
wheelchair (FIGURE 3).
B. Wheelchairs 10 inches wide:
• Insert one (1) stroller handle into one (1) of the
back canes so that it is facing AWAY from the
INSIDE of the wheelchair (FIGURE 3).
2. Position the stroller handle so that the mounting hole in
the back cane aligns with the desired height mounting
hole in the stroller handle and secure with detent pin.
3. Ensure the detent pin passes through the mounting
hole in the back cane AND the desired height mount-
ing hole in the stroller handle.
4. Repeat STEPS 1-3 for the opposite stroller handle.
Height Adjustment
NOTE: Wheelchair MUST be OPEN before adjusting
stroller handle height.
NOTE: Both handles should be adjusted to the same
height when in use.
1. Remove the detent pin that secures one (1) stroller
handle to one (1) of the back cane.
2. Slide the stroller handle UP or DOWN until the de-
sired height is reached, making sure the mounting
hole in the back cane aligns with the desired height
mounting hole in the stroller handle.
3. Reinstall the detent pin so that it passes through the
mounting hole in the back cane AND the desired
height mounting hole in the stroller handle.
