Germguardian AC3000 Remove & Replace Instructions

REMOVE AND REPLACE FILTER

MODELS: AC3000, AP3151
Air Quality Monitor will flash indicating it is time to replace your filter. Depending on usage and
environmental conditions the filter will last approximately 6 months. The inside pleats of the filter will
turn from white to grey when it is dirty and needs replacing. It is important to maintain and change the
filter to continue to optimize the performance of the air purifier. IMPORTANT: Do NOT wash and re-use
the filter.
1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
2. Remove the bottom panel by pressing the two corners and pulling up.
3. Replace with new filter – pushing filter completely into unit.
4. Return bottom panel by tucking in the back corner first, then push down on the remaining two corners,
ensure the two corner panels are locked in place.
5. Reset filter indicator light by holding down the Power Button for 3 seconds.
IMPORTANT: Make sure filter is installed and bottom panel is closed properly, otherwise unit will not
function.

REMOVE AND REPLACE UV-C BULB

MODELS: AC3000
The UV-C light will begin to flash continuously when it's time to replace the UV-C bulb. Replace
the bulb according to the directions then press the UV-C control button and hold for 3 seconds
to reset the UV-C indicator light.

CHANGING THE UV-C BULB

1. The UV-C bulb is located in a compartment in the center of the purifier. To access, first follow the
instructions to remove the filter.
2. After removing the filter, hold the unit in place with one hand. Locate the bulb cover and turn in a
counter-clock wise direction (left) to remove.
