Important: References to “80-10, 40-10, or 20-10 meters” on any model listed in these instruction sheets indicates coverage on 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters, based on model. These models do not have natural resonances on 30, 17 and 12 meters but may be used with a wide range (10:1 tuning range) antenna tuner on these ranges, as reported by customer inputs.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to remove any packing material from around the coils before installing. This material is only for protection during shipping. The coils have a UV resistant dip applied at the factory and need no other coating or treatment.

The “bottom wire”, approx 8 ft. long each side, covers 10 mtrs. Fold back over last stand-off, 2 in. For assembly, refer to the photo above and the Model DX-CC instructions for assembly information. The Model DX-EE utilizes 3 long stand-offs and 2 short stand-offs.

NOTE: The Models DX-LB and LB Plus do not use the Model SEP static protectors, since these antennas are typically used with wide range antenna tuners to broaden out their frequency coverage on 160 and 80 meters. High VSWR voltage swings when tuning could cause “false triggering” of the Model SEP module.
