Preface This user manual contains operation instructions and test procedures for the ASLE-L- 100D. The ASLE-L-100D is an instrument that reproduces propagation time delay, path loss, and doppler shift that occur in real-world satellite links. This user manual is divided into the following sections:...
ASLE-L-100D reproduces link effects that occur as signals propagate though the atmosphere and space. These link effects include propagation delay, carrier Doppler shift, and path loss. The ASLE-L-100D reproduces those effects by generating time delay, magnitude attenuation, and DDS frequency shift.
User Manual Blue LED is on if external reference is present. The ASLE-L-100D will automatically switch to its internal reference if no external reference is present. At this time, switching is completed after 5 seconds have elapsed for system resynchronization.
