The glass turntable on the Black & Decker EM031M2CE may not seat into the drive gear and spin freely due to the following reasons:
1. Incorrect Placement – The glass tray must be positioned correctly on the turntable shaft and turntable ring assembly. It should not be placed upside down. 2. Missing or Damaged Parts – Both the glass tray and turntable ring assembly must be in place for proper operation. If either is missing or cracked, the turntable may not function properly. 3. Obstructions – Any food debris or foreign objects between the turntable and the turntable shaft may prevent proper seating and rotation. 4. Damaged Turntable Shaft or Drive Mechanism – If the turntable shaft or drive mechanism is damaged, the turntable may not engage properly and could spin freely.
Ensuring all components are correctly installed and free from damage should help resolve the issue.

I have B & D microwave EM031M2CE… trying to reset time due to daylight savings time. Instructions online say to press clock button for it to go back to 0000. Then punch in the time and hit clock button again. My microwave doesn’t have a button that says just clock. Mine says timer/clock. If I try to use that button, I can never get it to change the time when I hit it the second time it doesn’t do anything. Then, if I hit start the timer starts running I would really like to be able to change the time thank you. I tried to take a picture of it and use the photo, but it just keeps putting it up there with the red in it and it won’t post
